Wendy Buchanan is a Psychologist with over 16 years of counselling and psychotherapy in both private practice and the corporate arena. She is currently the Secretary of ADRA.

She is a qualified and registered psychologist who has facilitated management and professional development workshops for teams from Government Departments and a wide range of industry sectors.

Wendy regularly coached and mentored managers in the public and private sector. As an experienced workplace coach she would work with clients on a one-to-one basis to identify, coach and continuously improve management practices.

She would be asked to assess individual and organisational issues and make recommendations for interventions to resolve any problems. As a Grievance Investigator, she realised that many workplace difficulties would produce better outcomes if the parties could mediate their differences. She gained a Certificate 4 in Business: Focus on Workplace Mediation in 2002 and following further study she became an Accredited Mediator under the National Mediator Standards in 2009.

Now semi-retired, she continues a small Private Psychology Practice in Sydney.
