You are invited to join us in watching the first Australian Musical Documentary Prison Songs, followed by speakers Songwriter Shellie Morris and Dr Thalia Anthony, Associate Professor of Law at Univesity of Technology Sydney.
Shellie Morris has spent the past 25 years honing her skills as a story teller and musician. She has learnt from communities around the world and worked with them engaging in music as a healing tool.
Dr Thalia Anthony's expertise is in the areas of criminal law and procedure and Indigenous people and the law, with a particular specialisation in Indigenous criminalisation and Indigenous community justice mechanisms.
