As an Organisation advocating peaceful resolution of disputes, we wish, on behalf of our members, to convey our deepest and sincere sympathy for those who have suffered injury or loss of loved ones last Sunday. We also offer support for the Australian Jewish Community, who in recent times have been unfairly exposed to terror such as that rising from last Sunday’s antisemitic event.

As the Australian community is now comprised of diverse multinational backgrounds, traditions, faiths and beliefs, we need:

to find a way of repairing violent outbursts to maintain a respectful and peaceful Australian way of life;
to restore a strong sense of a community that can celebrate and not condemn differences,
to peacefully resolve differences of opinion that may lead to hatred towards any sector of the Australian community.
