Janice McLeay Consulting
Janice McLeay is a dispute management specialist.
She has extensive experience and expertise in grievance handling, conflict coaching, mediation, facilitation, training, group work and workplace investigations.
Janice is an accredited Mediator under the National Mediator Accreditation System. She obtained her Master of Dispute Resolution (Hons) at the University of Technology Sydney, winning the NSW Bar Association Prize for Dispute Resolution in 1997.
Since retiring as a Commissioner with the Industrial Relations Commission of NSW, Janice went into private practice as a dispute resolution specialist, utilising her background in education, community welfare, local government, health and industrial relations.
Janice coaches, trains and assesses mediators with Australian International Disputes Centre Ltd and has coached mediators with LEADR and The Trillium Group. She was Chair of the National Mediation Conference 2012. She is a Past President of the Australian Dispute Resolution Association. She has been a Mediator with the NSW Workers Compensation Commission from 2009 to 2014.
Since 2017, Janice has been joined by her son, Paul, to develop the services her clients need. Paul brings extensive experience in strategy, governance and compliance. Whilst working with Janice, Paul continues to maintain his other business, Performance Audit Review, which is a Strategy and Governance firm.
Paul has over 20 years experience in senior roles with Private companies, Government, General Management, HR, recruitment, public policy, contracting and reform. His experience covers a range of agencies and activities including government, human services, infrastructure, mining and ports. Paul’s strengths are policy and strategy, risk management and compliance, dynamic leadership, stakeholder engagement, that operate within complex regulatory environments.
Being based in Sydney, Janice and Paul have easy access to your worksite and are available to travel as required.
