ADRA’s AGM served a dual purpose this year as we celebrated the 90th birthday of Janet Coombs.
Janet Coombs had the longest-running practice of any woman at the NSW Bar (until her retirement), specialising initially in petty sessions.
The Women Lawyers Association of New South Wales annual lunch for new women barristers is named in her honour.
